The Beautiful Word for Christmas

The Beautiful Word for Christmas is a collection of holiday joy to cover the season of advent. The first third of the book features the Christmas story from scripture illustrated with large bold lettering and colorful accents. Each page is truly frame-worthy and a pleasure to reflect on. These 23 Bible passages set the tone for the holiday season and give you a focus for the day.

Nurturing Yourself Throughout the Season

The remainder of the book contains 31 devotions for the advent season along with activities to complete throughout the season. These daily devotions begin with a focus verse and then a meaningful devotional reading centered around the meaning behind the focus verse. Each selection is timely and relevant to a woman’s life, with realities like tight finances and busy family lives.

A heart for the season

The theme of The Beautiful Word for Christmas is that self-care is important, especially around the holidays, and that in order to truly open our hearts to the Christmas season, we must take a breather and spend some time in reflection. I love how the devotions cause you to consider a different perspective and refocus your thinking about certain things, like being a good receiver of gifts or allowing yourself to rest.

The Beautiful Word for Christmas really shows you to savor each moment of the holiday season. The gorgeous sparkles and foil lettering on the cover make this a special book to keep out during the holidays, but the content inside is where it really shines.

The publisher provided a review copy of The Beautiful Word for Christmas.
