St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner! I don’t know about you, but my kids love to get into the green spirit and celebrate this day. They look forward to a day that’s all about magic and fun. To keep the theme going, I like to add some special St. Patrick’s Day activities, food, and crafts for them to enjoy.
St. Patrick’s Day Bento Box
Celebrate the luckiest day of the year by making a fun St. Patrick’s Day lunch for your child! Wendy Copley, who has written Everyday Bento: 50 Cute and Yummy Lunches to Go, has designed a delicious themed bento box packed with all the familiar symbols we see on March 17 — green foods, gold coins and a rainbow of healthy fruit!

St. Patrick’s Day Snake Craft
Andrea Mulder-Slater, artist, blogger and co-founder of Kinder Art brings us this adorable snake craft. According to legend, Saint Patrick drove all the snakes out of Ireland in the 5th century by chasing them off the cliffs, straight into the sea. We think that sounds like the perfect introduction to a fun afternoon of crafting!
