Music is a big part of our lives–and with all the guitar playing and drumming you’ll hear coming from my house, our neighbors know that’s true! Our local symphony offers a free concert each year for students, and it is always a highlight of the school year for us. My kids are in awe of the live orchestra.

Exposure to all kinds of music is important and enriching, so be sure to include some musical studies in your homeschool week. Our list of music books for kids will get you started, and we even have some free printable notebook pages for you, along with a library checklist.
