Giveaway: Excavate! Dinosaurs

June 16, 2015 by Anne Campbell 5 Comments

Have you heard the latest? Dinosaurs are back! Well, at least according to the movies they are. If you have a kid who loves dinosaurs as much as my little boy does, enter for a chance to win a copy of the fun, “paper paleontology” book Excavate! Dinosaurs from Storey Publishing.

Fun With Dinosaurs

Excavate! Dinosaurs gives kids the opportunity to become paleontologists as they work with the “fossilized” bones and rebuild the skeletons using the pop-out paper bones.

Excavate! Dinosaurs is an activity book of paper toy paleontology, complete with 12 pop-out skeletons to identify and build. Kids of all ages will love reading about the dinosaurs from the Cretaceous, Jurassic, and Triassic periods, then will use what they learned to identify their bones that are all mixed up, just like a real paleontologist! The bones can be popped out of the pages and put together to create 12 different dinosaur species skeletons to model or play with.

This giveaway is sponsored by Storey Publishing and is open to US entrants only. One person will receive a copy of Excavate! Dinosaurs.

This would be a great activity for kids to do on a rainy day. It’s a great time for dinosaurs since Jurassic World is out now. I hope there’s a T-Rex in the book!

I’ve always sort of liked the Triceratops. Though my kids are naturally fans of the T-Rex!

We love all the raptors-velociraptor, microraptor, and also deinonychus. My son would LOVE this if we won! Thanks for the opportunity.
