What to Read Themed Book Lists

The Best Children’s Books

Books are a huge part of our family’s life, and we read together every day. One of the best things about homeschooling is having time to read and share books we love, and piling up on the couch to read together. Having access to a themed book list makes planning a unit study super easy and book lists help make library trips efficient and productive.

It is a planning dream to have a list of themed ideas for unit studies or spontaneous light bulb moments!

We share our favorite books each week on What to Read Wednesday. They are listed by category below, along with a calendar of planned lists to share with you in the future. Each Wednesday, we’ll update the list with a new category and also invite you to link to your posts about favorite books, resources, and activities in our weekly series.
