What to Read

The Best Children’s Books

Books are a huge part of our family’s life, and we read together every day. One of the best things about homeschooling is having time to read and share books we love, and piling up on the couch to read together. It is also a planning dream to have a list of themed ideas for unit studies or spontaneous light bulb moments!

We share our favorite books each week on What to Read Wednesday. They are listed by category below, along with a calendar of planned lists to share with you in the future. Each Wednesday, we’ll update the list with a new category and also invite you to link to your posts about favorite books, resources, and activities in our What to Read Wednesday series.

Be sure to check out our shop for free printables and activities to go along with many of our What to Read Wednesday themes. Click here to see what’s available!
