The Best Circus Books for Kids

“Ladies and gentlemen, and children of all ages! Welcome to the greatest show on earth!”
Now that Ringling Brothers is closed, I wonder if kids in coming years will have a frame of reference when hearing about the circus. It was such a big event when I was a kid to get to attend, and seeing all the daring feats was such a thrill! When my kids were little, we got to go to one show early and get out ‘on the floor’ to meet some of the performers. It was an amazing experience!
At least we can read some books about the circus, and we have quite a few favorites! If you have anything to add to our list, please share in the comments below.
